A festival which became now an ‘’institution’’ is making the heart of the tradition to knock on the door for the 4th year again in Temvria, at 14th of September and time 16.30. The festival which grows every year even more opens again its doors to invite us and offer tastes and scents that will wake memories and different times of the past which every one of us is being nostalgic about it.So at the 14th of September, all the roads will be guiding to Temvria where we will have the chance to enjoy instant and freshly made delicacies. We will taste the hot palouze and soutzouko, fresh halloumi and trachana, a fragant traditional baked bread and a variety of traditional pies, crunchy and crunchy loukoumades, freshly distilled zivania and with all those mouth-drooling delicacies we will watch the same time the good traditional way of stuffing Cypriot sausages. Obviously homemade and delicious traditional Cypriot sweets will also be sold in the event.Important point to mention is the tasting of the original honey and also the traditional katsoures of Temvria.We will watch the traditional Cypriot knitting, the rich decorating of Cypriot zucchini or else red kolotzi as we say, the making of pithkavlioy and other constructions with wool productsThe one and only master of Cypriot songs Michael Chatzimichael will bring in the fun along with the multitalented Stephano Pelekani and the unique Areti Ketime. Dancing of different local dance teams will bring back to life our music tradition and taking along the way people who are enjoying the festival and can showcase their dance skills of our village.During the festival, we will have the chance to walk around to other villages and to narrow roads of our village with a small train, meeting the beauty of Temvria and since we got luck by our side and it’s the celebration of the Holy Cross, we have the chance to go and worship at our small and traditional church of the Holy Cross in our village.In the area there is going to be a big variety of foods, drinks and many other delicacies for selling that we are sure young and old will be drooling over them.And for you out there who may not know where our beautiful village is located, it is a small and full of green forests village in the centre of the Solea Valley
