Nicosia Tourism Board celebrates World Tourism Day.
On the occasion of World Tourism Day, celebrated on September 27th, Nicosia Tourism Board offers the opportunity to everyone to explore and discover Lefkosia(Nicosia) through a series of activities that are going to take place on Saturday, September 24th, from 10:00 to 17:00.
The events include free guided tours in the city’s museums, walking tours in the old city and walking and bus tours in Nicosia outside the walls. Additionally, a special tour for adults and children with disabilities is going to take place at Leventis Gallery. During the day, buses will transfer people to the Museums and back, every half hour, without any charge. Entrance in the museums is free on that day.
All tours begin and terminate at Nicosia Multicultural Municipal Centre where there will be revival of traditional cultural crafts by craft makers from the Cyprus Handicraft Centre, as well as a bazaar organized by ‘City Markets’, with handmade products, food, drinks and music.
