On 3-5 November, concerts of the famous Russian pianist Vladimir Ovchinnikov will be held in several cities of Cyprus.
The Fond of Classical Music Support "Muzi-Miru" (The muses to the World), with the support of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Cyprus and the Russian Center for Science and Culture in the Republic of Cyprus are organizing a series of concerts of the famous Russian pianist Vladimir Ovchinnikov, a professor of the State Tchaikovsky Conservatory of Moscow, honored be the "People's Artist of Russia" award.
The concerts will take place under the auspices of the “Russian Muses - to the World!” program, which runs under the supervision of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, and has so far numbered more than 100 events in more than 20 countries around the world, with the participation of first class Russian classical music and opera artists.
Vladimir Ovchinnikov’s visit is going to be a great event in the cultural life of Cyprus, given his worldwide fame and his excellent performing skills.
Organizers and spectators of the concerts will receive welcome messages on behalf of the Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation Mr. Vladimir Medinsky and The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Mr. Sergei Lavrov.
The concerts will be given in the framework of the celebrations of Russia's "Day of National Unity".
The Russian pianist will perform some worldwide famous works by the great Russian composers Piotr Tchaikovsky and Sergey Rachmaninov.

3rd of November – Russian Centre for Science and Culture (Lefkosia)
4th of November - Ancient Theatre of Kourion (Lemesos)
5th of November - Markidion Theatre, Paphos (within the framework of "Pafos2017 - European Capital of Culture").
The concert of Vladimir Ovchinnikov on the 5th of November, is of a great importance, since it will be held in Pafos, which is currently the European Capital of Culture - 2017. The 5th of November concert will be a remarkable presentation of Russian culture in the framework of this pan-European program, which this year organizes many major events, involving artists and spectators from all of Europe.
The concerts of the 3rd and 4th November will be given in the form of a colorful show. Before and after the solo program of the famous pianist, artists of the Russian ballet show "Comme Il Faut " will perform beautiful dancing compositions.
