The Israel Yacht Club(IYC) and the Famagusta District Sailing Club Begafigo are organising the CYPRUS – ISRAEL REGATTA 2016 on 15th – 20th October 2016.
The Regatta will start with two coastal races and will be followed by the offshore race from Larnaca to Tel Aviv. Each race will be regarded as separate race with prizes awarded both in Larnaca and Tel Aviv. ORC handicap system will be used.

Saturday 15th October 2016. Limassol – Zygi race
09:00 – Opening Ceremony, Breakfast, Registration & briefing at Limassol Marina.
12:00 -Start of the Race (The warning signal will be given at 11:55)
16:00 – Protests
Saturday 15th October 2016. Prize Giving Ceremony at Zygi
20:00 – Ceremony & Prize giving for the 1st race.
20:30 – Dinner
21:15 – Music etc
Sunday 16th October 2016. Zygi – Larnaka race
10:30 -Start of the Race (The warning signal will be given at 10:25)
16:00 – Protests
Sunday 16th October 2016. Prize Giving Ceremony at LARNAKA OLD CASTLE
19:00 – Ceremony, Prize giving for race 2 and overall.
19:30 – ‘White Balance Show’
20:30 - Cocktails/dinner on the deck of Finikoudes beach front.

Tuesday 18th October 2016- Larnaca – Tel Aviv Race 185NM
09:00 - Registration & briefing at PONATHA club

20:00 – late - Prize giving ceremony, food and cocktail party on the north deck
