Based on the concept of linking continents and cultures, this exhibition presents art works by Asli Bolayir from Mouttalos and Christine Chiorboli from Corsica.
Their work explores identity issues, while reflecting the artists’ inner struggle in their attempt to identify and appropriate a sense of the place they belong to. With the same intensity, the works of the two artists create a dialogue with ones internal conflict on issues such as that of being between “somewhere” and “nowhere”, between policies of the nations and policies of biological identities, between removal and matter (the ground itself) and, finally, between being “somebody” or “nobody”.
