In the period from 13 to 17 November 2017 in Cyprus the Russian Gastronomy Week will be held.
The concept of the Russian Gastronomy Weeks (RGW) project was developed by the Affiliate member of the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) the International Center of Wine and Gastronomy (ICWAG, Moscow, www.icwag.com), with the active personal support of the Secretary-General of the UNWTO Mr. Taleb Rifai. The RGW project is implemented with the support of the Minister of foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation S. V. Lavrov, the Ministry of culture of the Russian Federation, Rossotrudnichestvo, the Federal Agency for Tourism (Rostourism), the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation, leading Russian professional associations and unions.
The large-scale international project is a cultural and an educational platform that unites a wide audience with a vast variety of interests. The main venue of the Week is the luxurious five-star Four Seasons Hotel Limassol. The official program of the Week starts on the 13 November with the solemn reception at the Russian Cultural Center in the Republic of Cyprus with the participation of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary S. Osadchy, which enogastronomic component will be prepared by the RGW team.
In frames of the Russian Gastronomy Week in Cyprus there will be the exhibitions of the gastronomic routes, tourism, food and beverage producers, during which the participants from the Vladimir region, Ulan-Ude, Yaroslavl and other Russian regions will present their products and services to the Cypriot specialists and to the general public.
Every evening in the restaurants of the Four Seasons Hotel Limassol the themed gourmet dinners in the performance of the Chefs from Vladimir, Krasnodar, Moscow, Ulan-Ude and Yaroslavl will be held. The RGW program includes master-classes of leading Russian experts in enogastronomy. For young Cypriots a charity culinary master class will be organized.
