The opera "La Dame aux Camélias" is based on the novel of the same name by Alexandre Dumas fils and tells the tragic story of Violetta Valéry, a famous courtesan in Paris who falls in love with the young Alfredo Germont. However, social prejudices and difficulties lead them to a tragic end.
The opera, composed by Giuseppe Verdi, is presented in three acts. The opera company from the Tbilisi State Theatre is coming to Cyprus with 70 members, including leading soloists, a choir, and a ballet. The audience will have the opportunity to enjoy a truly unique experience, combining the unparalleled beauty of Verdi's music with the powerful performances of the artists, rich choreography, and the live performance of the Cyprus Symphony Orchestra.
