The Ibrahim’s Khan (Ibrahim’s Khan) used to be an inn and also acted as a space where merchants and craftsmen would come together. The sense of hospitality the Khan represents is the inspiration for this programme which aims at bringing people closer and making them more engaged in the European Capital of Culture Pafos2017. Surrounding locations such as studios, galleries and art workshops in the city centre will be open to the public, giving local people and visitors a chance to meet with the artists and to participate in the workshops they will offer.
An open workshop day will be held on the 17th June at the Ibrahim’s Khan
