Pafos will welcome one of the greatest personalities of oriental music and one of the most charismatic musicians of the Mediterranean. Omar Faruk Tekbilek has been active in the music world for over thirty years and has been influenced by the Middle East and the Mediterranean region.
His music is deeply rooted in tradition, but combines elements from contemporary musical idioms.
Tekbilek is inspired by religious mysticism, tradition, romance and imagination. Considering himself a messenger of peace, he collaborates with musicians from different countries and cultures. Greek and Cypriot musicians will also participate.
