The Nicosia Book Fest was first organized in June 2016 at the Acropolis Park. The organizers of the Festival were the Promitheas Research Institute, the Municipality of Strovolos, the Press and Information Office and the Youth Board of Cyprus.
It is an innovative and unique institution in Cyprus, designed based on standards of respective international initiatives aimed at highlighting the value of the book in Cypriot society and promoting literacy.
Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the organization of NBF 2020 has been affected, which led us to turn this year’s festival into a hybrid event with prerecorded discussions and presentations, live presentations with audience, a digital platform with book stores and other organizations, discussion forums etc.
So this year we are taking a different step to bring all the friends of the book together. We renew our date online this year on November 21-22 and we invite you to stay tuned to our page at Nicosia Book Fest for more details and for the two-day program.
