The festival is organised for the first time in Korakou community.
The festival will start at 15:30 at Yiannoulas Lazarou Herbs Workshop, near the entrance of the village, where guests will be able to visit the botanical garden.
From there, we will walk up to the courtyard of the Church of Apostolos Loukas, in a wonderful donkey ride. In the courtyard, a representation of shepherd's activities will take place. Any of the guest who want to visit the chapels of the village, will continue with the tour . The rest will proceed to the courtyard of the Primary School of the village, where the main event will take place. There, various traditional dishes will be prepared by the housewives of the village. Traditional bread demonstration, haloumi, pie and sweets making will take place and visiitors will be able to taste these products for free.They may also attend to the grape pressing and the distillation of zivania which will be offered free. Demonstration of wood carving, pottery, basketware, agiography, mosaic painting and other traditional arts will also take place as well as a herb exhibition. The program will be enriched with traditional dance groups. At 20:00 a traditional feast will begin, with traditional food, traditional music and singing, and of course dances from Cyprus and Greece, since we will have the honor to host a dance group from Halkidiki.
In the area of the Municipal school visitors may taste a traditional Cypriot coffee, fresh homemade lemonade, traditional sweets and mahalepi . There will be also a grocery store where some traditional foods will be sold.
