The exhibition is, in fact, a landmark for the European Capital of Culture – Pafos2017 since it will take place just a few days before the official taking over of the European Capital of Culture title and it is also the harbinger of the great celebration that will follow, in a landmark year for our country.
Especially for this exhibition, the curator creates in the “En Plo” area a second scenographic space, whose structure has been inspired by the portico of the Temple of Aphrodite in Pafos. This specially designed area will host the works of the artists and will highlight them in a unique way and, at the same time, create an atmosphere of mystagogy amid light and darkness. The visitor will acquire, in this way, the role of a participant in an experiential ritual of empirical search and recognition of the wealth of artistic creativity born by the Pafian land, through specially selected by the curator works.
