Theme:
In the Coastlines exhibition, artist Ioanna Epaminondou invites viewers to encounter the shorelines of her island, framing coastal landscapes as a sanctuaries – spaces for empathy, renewal, and undisturbed connection. Through her work, Ioanna draws upon the lines and colors of the coast and sea as metaphors for life’s fluidity: boundaries that are ever-present but never fixed. The sea, always in motion, becomes a symbol of endless possibility and change.
It is, after all, “the sea that saves me”, as she whispers—a quiet force calling anyone to embrace tranquility, to meet ourselves and others in peace.
