In a festive Christmas atmosphere and in the spirit of the season, mezzo-soprano Margarita Εlia, tenor Marios Andreou, the EMMELEIA CHOIR under the direction of Eleni Kyprianou, and pianist Galina Dimova Georgieva present a celebratory concert, focusing on the most authentic and unembellished musical works of Christmas.
Through multilingual sacred poetic texts and refined performances, the artists highlight popular solo and choral works by renowned composers such as Darius Lim, Benjamin Britten, Juan Tony Guzmán, John Rutter, Franz Biebl, Adolphe Adam, Franz Schubert, G.F. Handel, and Max Reger. The program is enriched with contemporary crossover pieces and beloved traditional carols.
