The Association of the Bulgarians in Cyprus invites you to the event “Bulgaria in my Heart” at Technopolis 20 in Paphos, under the “Days of Bulgarian Culture 2017”, on Wednesday, 24th of May 2017. The event will include a classical concert, opening of an art exhibition and poetry reading, aiming to celebrate and promote the Bulgarian culture.

Free Entrance
The programme of the classical concert will include works by Bulgarian composers and the musicians performing are: Tsveta Christoforou – mezzo soprano, Silvana Novakova Pravcheva – soprano, Galina Dimova – piano and Ivelina Ruseva – piano. The concert will start at 19:00 and the entrance will be free for the public. Reservations are necessary at 7000 2420.
After the end of the concert, the opening of the exhibition will follow at 20:30. The exhibition will host works by Bulgarian artists residing on the island, including Angel Mihaylov, Borislav Georgiev, Violeta Bashova-Eleftheriadou and Sofia Hadjipapa. The exhibition will be open until Wednesday, 31st of May 2017 (Visiting Hours: Monday – Tuesday, 10am - 5pm and Wednesday – Saturday, 10am – 1pm).
Finally, the event will finish with poetry reading of works by Vasilka Hadjipapa and Georgi Konstantinov, performed by Monika Meleki and Yulia Batzieva.
The “Days of Bulgarian Culture 2017” is organized by the Association of the Bulgarians in Cyprus and under the auspices of the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria in Cyprus and it takes place in Cyprus for 10th consecutive year. The cycle of events which starts at the end of April and finish in the middle of June is performed in honor of 24 May - The Day Of Slavonic Alphabet, Bulgarian Enlightenment and Culture. This year will also be celebrated the 10th anniversary of the founding of the Bulgarian Schools in Paphos and Limassol. The program includes classical concerts, exhibitions of artists residing on the island, film projections and school activities in Lefkosia, Lemesosl and Pafos.
