The Ioannou/Vafeas Quartet of the outstanding musicians Charis Ioannou (saxophone), Ioannis Vafeas (drums), Dimitris Miaris (piano) and Greg Makamian (double bass) present their newly released album Bridge of Locks (April 2017), which brings the sounds of straight ahead jazz.
The album, which is the result of the musical ex-ploration of two long-time friends and collaborators Ioannou and Vafeas, includes pieces composed by the American saxophonist and composer Chris Byars, one original composition by Charis Ioannou and one jazz standard.
