Athienou is famous for the milk and the good quality wheat it produces.
Thus, every year, the producers of milk and wheat products promote and sell their products to the participants of the festival.
In parallel, the Municipality organizes displays recreating the traditional way of making bread and cheese, as well as music and dance events.
