Natia Chkheidze is a Georgian artist of monumental painting. She was born in 1978 in Tbilisi, Georgia. In 2004 she finished her studies at the Tbilisi Academy of Arts and continued her studies in the faculty of Architecture- Interior Design.
Her work has been exhibited at the‘Contemporary Art Fair’ at the ‘MuseuMarítim de Barcelona’, in December 2016. It was an important exhibition to start her career as an artist.

In this exhibition she presents her new work that was made after a recent trip to Barcelona. Her technique often varies depending on the ideating and composition. Her work at present is mostly done with oil paints. Using a palette knife she overlays colours using huge smears to create form and volume. Fast stokes and movements, in her work stems from her desire to explore and express her inner emotions.
Natia Chkheidze lives and works in Cyprus.
The exhibition will be inaugurated on Friday,3rd of November 2017 by the Mayor of Larnakas Mr. Andreas Vyras at 20:00.
