Cloud Diagram’ is a solo exhibition by Alison Turnbull, presented at Art Seen and curated by Maria Stathi.
The exhibition is supported by the British Council Cyprus and British High Commission in Lefkosia.
Alison Turnbull studied in Madrid at Academia Arjona (1975–1977); in Surrey at The West Surrey College of Art and Design (1977–1978) and in Corsham at The Bath Academy of Art (1978–1981).
Turnbull has had solo exhibitions at Shandy Hall, North Yorkshire (2014); De La Warr Pavilion, East Sussex (2013); Talbot Rice Gallery, Edinburgh (2012); Matt's Gallery, London (2010); and Galería Magda Bellotti, Madrid (2005). Her most recent shows include: Another Green World: Linn Botanic Gardens, Encounters with a Scottish Arcadia, John Hope Gateway, Edinburgh. (upcoming).
She has undertaken residencies at the University of Oxford Botanic Garden (2005), the Department of Entomology, Natural History Museum, London (2009), and Cove Park in western Scotland (2011). Her recent commissions include Vitis vinifera L. at One Vine Street, London (2008), and Time and Tide for the DLR, London (2008-10).
