The village of Athienou is famous for its long history of wheat growing and traditional breadmaking, as well as for its halloumi, and will be celebrating these customs with day-long festival.
The event includes halloumi and bread making demonstrations and sampling; the opportunity to buy traditional products, and an entertainment programme of folkloric music, as well as a treasure hunt for children, and other activities.
